CONNECTIVITY
Connectivity is pivotal in providing unfettered access for our clients to the increasingly fragmented marketplace. Knight's buy- and sell-side clients take advantage of our client connectivity team which provides a complete spectrum of services and consulting on electronic trading infrastructure and trade execution services.
Knight adheres to all industry-driven messaging standards administered under the FIX Protocol. We also connect to multiple third-party order management companies that provide order routing for clients. These vendors currently include, but are not limited to the following:
Complementary to our execution services, we work closely with clients at the outset of each connectivity engagement to meet their technology needs. Clients can initiate their connectivity to Knight through financial extranets, direct circuits or virtual private network (vpn). We have the flexibility to work with proprietary systems as well as the OMS/EMS providers selected by clients.
Before commencing services, we work with each client's back office to make sure they receive the appropriate information for clearance and settlement and compliance purposes. Additionally, we provide insight on services that either Knight or another third-party can provide to enhance electronic trading systems and infrastructure.
